School's out for summer. So we know what that means. Students are home while many parents are still working remotely from their homes as well. In my household, my family can hear many of my phone conversations about health insurance and last week, I went to go check on my son after a conference call, and he's seven years old. He said, "Mom, why do you love health insurance so much?", and I couldn't help but laugh.
I told him the reason I love health insurance so much is because, in my opinion, it is one of the most important employee benefits that an employer can offer in order to help raise morale and increase productivity, as well as bring peace of mind to your employee group. Knowing that you have health insurance to help pay in case there's an emergency and you get hospitalized or if you just need to go and get your regular annual checkups gives the employee this perspective of care given by the employer and the empowerment to be a healthier person in general.
I look forward to helping you figure out if an employee benefits program is good for your business, and talking to you about the ins and outs that we can make it affordable for both the employer and the employee. I'm Niki Trentacosta, President of the Tanna group, and I can't wait to talk to you about your Employee Benefits Program. Until we do speak, I hope that you stay happy, stay healthy and, of course, be sure to wash your hands.
